Best for the classic game-wall experience
Friv has been around since 2006 and still feels refreshingly direct: a dense wall of games, very little ceremony, and a strong focus on family-friendly titles. Friv says it uses very few ads and does not interrupt gameplay with ads.
Best for a polished, curated catalog
Poki is one of the biggest modern browser-game platforms, with around 1,700 games and more than 100 million monthly players according to its own FAQ. It works across desktop and mobile, and Poki says its catalog is licensed directly from developers and studios.

CrazyGames is built around modern browser gaming: driving, shooting, .io, multiplayer, action and a long tail of subcategories. The company says the platform has grown to more than 60 million monthly users.
Best for sheer archive depth
Y8 is the archive monster of this list. Its official About page says it hosts more than 100,000 games in 30+ languages, including HTML5, WebGL, multiplayer titles and a preserved Flash-game archive.

ZEPO is the new one here, and yes, it is ours. We built it around the thing we still like about old browser-game sites: you should see a lot of games immediately. The current catalog has 900 games, including 219 tagged for 2-player discovery, with search and category filters sitting on top of a dense game wall.
It is deliberately not trying to become a social network, launcher or account system. The pitch is simpler: open the site, pick something that looks fun, and play.
We looked for browser-first game sites with a real catalog, quick access to gameplay and a reason to exist beyond simply mirroring the same feed.
